Tell us a little about your childhood, growing up, parents, brothers and sisters?
I grew up in Osun state, Iseyin to be precise into a large family of six children. One of the most interesting and important things to be however was that my childhood was very happy and the family constantly radiated love between one another.

Brothers: (i) Mr Musibau Olarenwaju, (ii) Mr. Raheem Olarenwaju and iii) Mr. Afeez Olarewanju.
Sisters: (I) Mrs Amudalat Olarenwaju and (ii) Miss Salafat Olarenwaju
What was the first paying job ever that you had?
I worked as a clerk.
How much were you paid per month and what were the responsibilities?
Two hundred and Fifty Naira monthly (=N= 250), and that’s no joke. I undertook office duties such as filing, accounting etc.
What other jobs did you do outside Acting?
None
What made you go into the Acting career and when did you start Acting?
My love from the job since childhood – 1981.
Who were your Idols/Models (Actors) in those days?
All travelling theatre performers. It was a career that I had great respect for in terms of their commitments and sacrifices.
What was your first role in Theatre, TV or Movies?
I played a palace chief in a movie back then if my memory serves me right.
What was your major break-through role and in what film, series or play?
I played the part of an assassin or hired killer in a production by Ogogo titled “the wicked boy”.
What were the constraints you had to face and overcome as an up-and-coming Actor (young actor)?
I guess one of the major constraints apart from money was the perception of the General public – because of their notion and stigma against those in theatre as “drop outs”.
How many films have you been involved with as an Actor to date?
Over 100 films
Orogun Omo, Olugbeja, wealth (oro), Ipo Ola, Wicked boy, Busayo, Kura, Kinni saso, Durotimi etc.
As a DYNAMIC, OUTSTANDING, 'A'-List Actor, how have you managed to adapt to the different range of roles you have played in your career?
The help of God and my ability to learn quickly.
What is the most awkward or strangest role you have had to take/play in your career and why?
None
What film have you been most proud to be involved with so far, and why? On Stage
Every movie that I have been involved in to date.
As an 'A'-List Actor yourself, what other 'A'-List Actors or Actresses have worked or collaborated with?
They are many e.g. Ogogo, Yinka Quadri, Jide Babs etc.
Did you at anytime want to quit your Acting career for something else or for a reason, and why (if any)?
No.
What is the motivation for you or what keeps you interested in this career every morning you wake up?
The challenge and what people gain in watching our movies.
How important are our Nigerian roots, morals, values, knowledge and sense of wisdom to you and your works?
They are priorities anytime I set out to do a job.
On the stories, scripts, or screen play of your films, and its impact on the Nigerian/African cultural values (home and abroad), how do you manage to harness, keep and pass them across in your films?
Greater percentage of my film cover all these areas be it Nigerian or African Culture, moral or traditional values. Our films will be nothing without them.
What projects are you working on at the moment and with whom?

Where do you see yourself in this career in the next five years?
This is just the beginning of a promising and fruitful career. In five years, I should have won several awards and become a greater force to reckon with.
Where do you see the Nigerian movies industry in the next couple of years?
Whao! - Serious investment opportunity for investors and big resources for Nigerian world-wide.
When you are not working (Acting, producing, directing or making a film), what do you do or how do you pass the time?
I listen to good music (depending on my mood) and spend time with the family.
What kind of music do you listen to and who is your favourite musician?
I am very open to any form of music, so any good one will do.
Is there an International Actor (American, British, Australian, African, etc.) you will want to work with if the opportunity presented itself?
All good movie actors and actresses.
What other messages do you have for your international fans in America, United kingdom, Europe, Africa and its Diaspora?
Please keep believing in me and support me with lots of prayer…. This is just the beginning – I love them all..
