Funke Akindele and hubby begin honeymoon in London

Reports indicate that star actress Funke Khadijat Akindele and new hubby Almaroof are currently in the UK to begin their honeymoon. Sources say they have chosen the city of London to do their honeymoon after a battle from a section of the media over their marriage.
It is not yet confirmed how long they will stay in the UK but we learnt that it would be at least a couple of weeks.
The new couple married last week Saturday, May 26 at an event place in Lagos, Nigeria which generated quite a lot of alleged untold controversies. But as most prominent stars, there always seems to be a case of allegations at the last minute of fervent arrangement by unknown person to derail well planned events like this, which fortunately never materializes and unfolds peacefully and hassle free.
Thus in Funke’s case, the weddings had to quickly hold within a space of two days with the Nikkai on Thursday, the tradition and Christian wedding held on Saturday to curtail any possible controversies arising.
